RULES OF CONDUCT

40th SOCCER TOURNAMENT HQ JFC 2022

Article 1: Property Rights

For the duration of the JFC HQ Brunssum 39th International Small-Pitch Soccer Tournament from August 22nd to 24th 2019, the domestic authority for the Sports Complex JFC HQ Brunssum has been delegated to the International Military Police (IMP)/Security Teams. Thus, the IMP/Security Teams are authorized to allow or deny the access to/presence on the event location. Within the scope of enforcing such instructions, the employed IMP/Security Teams can issue orders to stay away from the subject location. Such an order can result in the disqualification and de-registration of the team concerned.

Article 2: Arrival / Parking

Section 1

Access to the event venue will only be granted upon presentation of a valid invitation to the JFC HQ Brunssum 39th International Small-Pitch Soccer Tournament.

Section 2

Access to and parking of arrived vehicles on the event area will be monitored by the IMP/Security Teams. There will be marked parking areas for small vehicles and minivans / busses. Any instructions given by parking assistants must be observed.

Section 3

All access roads to the event location and routes on the event venue itself must be kept unobstructed and free for emergency vehicles. Any vehicles parked illegally along routes will be towed away and returned against reimbursement only.

Section 4

Driving over sports fields with any motor vehicle is strictly prohibited. Anyone violating this rule can be banned from the tournament venue.

Article 3: Accident Prevention / Fire Safety

Section 1

Based on current accident and fire prevention regulations, it is prohibited to bring along own / privately-owned electrical 220/230V equipment (not applicable to battery-powered equipment).

Section 2

Section 1 accordingly applies to all grill equipment (gas / electrical / coal).

Section 3

Using the electrical distributors installed at the tournament venue is prohibited.

Section 4

The use of any kind of glass on the tournament venue is prohibited. Therefore, it is strictly forbidden to bring along any privately-owned glass bottles and/or drinking glasses. Anyone not complying can be banned from the tournament venue and excluded from the tournament.

Section 5

It is prohibited to bring any sort of alcoholic drinks to the tournament on all days. Random checks will be conducted by the IMP/Security Teams. Identified drinks will be confiscated and not returned. Alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks will be provided in the course of the tournament.

Article 4: General Conduct

Section 1

As a matter of principle, each participant in the tournament must behave in such a way that others are not disturbed/bothered.

Section 2

Smoking is permitted only outside of permanent facilities (including the shelter/all tents and sheds) and only within the marked smoking areas (see site map). Cigarette butts must be disposed of into the special container provided for that purpose.

Section 3

Waste disposal will be done by means of the trash bags being issued and waste bins available on the Sports Complex. Any uncontrolled dumping of any waste can result in a ban from the tournament.

Section 4

Anyone feeling the need to relieve themselves must use the toilets/restrooms available on the Sports Complex (see site map).

Section 5

Between 00:00 hrs and 06:00 hrs, night silence will be observed in the accommodation/tent area. So, be kind, lower your voice and avoid noise while being in or moving through that area during that time.

Section 6

No pets (dogs) allowed on the tournament venue. This rule is valid for both, participants as well as visitors / spectators.

The above rules are intended to determine a general framework for the behavior in the tournament venue, the Sports Complex, where the German National Team is just another guest. Just like anybody else during any major event, we are also expected to comply with certain statutory provisions and legal regulations. Everyone should be aware of these regulations contained in the above articles, which also point out the consequences of non-compliance.

In the end, however, adherence to the rules can help to avoid unwanted incidents that could affect the tournament, take away the fun and harm our comradeship.

In the spirit of Fair Play, I therefore strongly recommend to comply with those rules!

Thank you!
